This is particularly meaningful, I think. At a time where people seem almost afraid to hear the opinions of others, it is a useful perspective that just because you listen to someone else doesn’t mean you have to align yourself with their ideas. In fact, I would take it a step further and say just because you understand someone’s point of view doesn’t mean you have to agree with it.
