So simple and yet so true. People often say “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” with scorn, casting judgement on someone else’s taste. Fine art receives great accolades, but some are moved by Picasso and others by Rembrandt, and some people don’t like it at all. You can learn about a person by knowing what they find beautiful, but that does not give you the right to pass judgement on them for loving it.
